The Susan G. Komen Foundation cordially invites you to paint the town pink this October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Join thousands of breast cancer patients, survivors, and their allies at the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk on Saturday, October 17. The event is set to take place between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. (Hopefully, the weather cooperates. In October, you never know.)
Taking place at Denver’s City Park, 2001 Colorado Blvd, Denver, CO 80205, the event promises to be a pet and family-friendly time. Bring your kids and dogs to walk for the cause.
The 2.5-mile route proves to be a fairly easy walking commute for all ages.

Why does it matter? Approximately 321,910 women and 2,670 men are predicted to be diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2026 alone. 42,140 women and 530 men are expected to die from the disease in this year alone.
“The work Komen does for people with breast cancer, survivors and those with increased risk of breast cancer is not possible without the MORE THAN PINK Walk and the critical money we raise from our generous supporters,” said Komen Colorado Executive Director Corrina Steiger in a statement regarding the 2025 walk. “We look forward to bringing together the Colorado participants in Denver this fall and uniting around our goal of creating a world where we do not lose another life to this disease.”
The MORE THAN PINK Walk brings together survivors, patients, caregivers, families, and supporters to honor loved ones, celebrate milestones, and unite in the fight against breast cancer.
The free event promises to be a fun time for all. Though, fundraising for the cause is still an option if you prefer to.
“Why Walk?” you may ask, according to the Foundation’s website “Susan G. Komen addresses breast cancer through research, patient support, community health, advocacy, and public policy initiatives to create the greatest possible impact against the disease. Every participant has a reason for walking. The MORE THAN PINK Walk brings together survivors, patients, caregivers, families, and supporters to honor loved ones, celebrate milestones, and unite in the fight against breast cancer.”
