Give Us The Floor put on a wonderful event at Meow Wolf with queer youth in mind. With Charlie Amáyá Scott, a queer/trans indigenous scholar and influencer as host of the night, they displayed artwork submitted by queer teens in attendance, had a photo booth with drag queen Ophelia Peaches and photographer Jas Ketterman, and an up-cycled craft station with fashion designer Kristi Siedow-Thompson.
Guests were also welcome to play video games, dance, enjoy the snack bar, and explore Convergence Station. Check out Give Us The Floor, an anonymous and safe group chat space for queer youth to get support, here, or learn about the dangers of banning gender-affirming healthcare for teens here.
