Vivian Jenna Wilson Roasts Estranged Father Elon Musk

Leader of the tech bros and general nuisance, Elon Musk has long made himself an enemy to the trans community. Trans rights are always at stake, and Elon seems to always choose to make it worse.

With several tirades on X, formerly Twitter, he now has come to attack his own estranged daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson. In an interview with Jordan Peterson, Musk stated that he largely blamed her being trans on “woke” ideology in her K-12 program and claims that she was born “gay and slightly autistic.” This complete dismissal and the subsequent misgendering and deadnaming of Wilson moved her to respond.

“I look pretty good for a dead bitch,” was an iconic start to the breaking down of Musk’s lies. She rebutted against his claims about her childhood on Threads. Firing back at him, she states, “Like, literally none of this ever happened,” in response to Musk’s remark about her love of musicals and “fabulous jackets” at the age of four. She goes on to say that she did not know the word fabulous, nor what a musical was because she was literally a toddler. It seems Musk apparently picked through gay stereotypes at random, chose two, and decided to roll with them.

When she talked more about Musk, she states that he was an absent father who would mock and tease her for liking more feminine things or having feminine traits. His absence, and harassment of the trans community, are what led Vivian to change her name, cutting ties with him entirely. She made it clear that she disowned him, not the other way around.

She is not finished responding, but giving herself the room to process. Her ability to respond to the situation and stop Musk from lying about her own life is admirable and a guiding light for all the other trans folks who deal with this on a much more private scale.
