Sylvester Stallone’s Wife Makes Multiple Unsubstantiated Claims About Transgender Children

Jennifer Flavin Stallone—a skincare brand owner, former model, and wife of Sylvester Stallone—seems to think that that list of mediocre accomplishments makes her an expert in child psychology, particularly around transgender children. Flavin made an appearance on an episode of The Katie Miller Podcast that came out yesterday, but she drew criticism when a clip was posted to Miller’s Instagram account (which was subsequently transcribed by Them) in which Flavin made up a bunch of bullshit about why so many celebrities have transgender children.
“I just think Hollywood is, you know, it’s all about expression. So, you know, however you want to express yourself. If you feel like a cat today, you’re a cat,” Flavin says in the clip, offering no evidence whatsoever. “And it’s so loosey-goosey, I don’t think we’re really understanding that these kids are not our accessories. They’re little human beings that need structure. And structure is really important for them because it helps their brain organize everything.”
“I mean, my daughters were tomboys,” Flavin also says in the clip, once again talking out of her ass. “They preferred to wear pants than dresses, you know? And they loved sports. But I never said, ‘Oh, you’re a boy now.’ I just said, ‘You love to play sports; you love to hang out with boys; that’s awesome.’”
To be clear, transgender children transition after careful intervention from medical experts who spend their entire life becoming experts on child psychology, but Flavin thinks she knows better because she married the guy who starred in Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot.
It’s worth noting that, according to the aforementioned Them article, Katie Miller is the wife of White House deputy chief of staff and racist Oompa Loompa Stephen Miller, one of the most influential members of this clown car we call the Trump Administration. Considering the Trump Administration has gone out of its way to maliciously target the transgender community, it’s hardly surprising that Katie Miller is encouraging guests to offer up unsubstantiated claims about transgender children.
