Pike’s Peak Pride Announces 2025 Dates

Pikes Peak Pride returns this year in downtown Colorado Springs! On June 14 and 15, Pikes Peak Pride will be celebrated with the theme “Pride For All” which “emphasizes acceptance, love, and respect—values that unite and uplift our community.”

Pikes Peak Pride made its debut in 2022, after Colorado Springs Pride ended in 2019 and was then followed by the pandemic years of no events. They’re excited to continue to build on their legacy of celebrating the entire community.

There will be plenty to do for everyone, from their main stage entertainment which promises exciting performances, the Rainbow Youth Square, vendor space and of course the Pride Parade. The Rainbow Youth Square was a popular feature in the past, and they are thrilled to bring it back to provide a safe space for LGBTQ+ youth to connect and create, and to make stronger bonds in the community. Pikes Peak is still looking for entertainers, vendors, volunteers, sponsors, and those looking for wedding vows during pride month! Applications are open, and they are hoping to build on the success of past years and provide local talent and vendors.

Prism Community Collective, a sector of Pikes Peak Pride, has also launched a virtual calendar for those looking to stay in touch with any events or workshops.

John Arcediano, PRISM’s program manager and a survivor of the Club Q attack, said when PRISM first opened, “People have not been able to get the medical attention or therapy they need,” he says to Them. “Club Q rippled through this community, and people are still coping with that trauma. The healthcare system here was not ready to really step into place and provide the necessary resources. A lot of people have been suffering in silence.” He says that many of the tragedy victims don’t use the resources that could help them because it’s still difficult for them to leave their homes every day. PRISM serves as a beacon of hope for the LGBTQ+ community in Colorado Springs, addressing the lack of representation and support in the area.”

We’re always excited for Pride month, and will continue to update the community on future events throughout Colorado.
