On Saturday, May 18, OFM hosted a Queer Bazaar on the patio of Champagne Tiger raising awareness for LGBTQ Mental Health in partnership with Envision:You.
As you walked in, you were greeted by Champagne Tiger’s lovely host.
To the left was the restaurant where patrons were seated, eagerly awaiting House of Ishan‘s show: POUR THE TEA, celebrating AANHPI (Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander) Heritage Month. To the right was the entrance to the beautiful patio where the Queer Bazaar booths were set up. In-between brunch shows, patrons were able to take a stroll and shop around the patio with their mimosas in hand.
The first booth was Envision:You which seeks to improve LGBTQ+ mental health through community programming, advocacy, and evidence-based training. They were the featured nonprofit of this Queer Bazaar, celebrating the recent release of the OFM mental health issue, done in collaboration with Envision: You.
As patrons continued down the path, they shopped at the booths of the following vendors:
OFM: offering jewelry, free copies of OFM, and free Narcan.
HunnyPalette: featuring beautiful handmade physique figurines, glassware, phone cases, and catchy accessories.
Yew Pets: offering creative feline features on blankets, apparel, purses, and buttons!
Vanessa Hayes Art: offering handmade ceramics, paintings, and jewelry.
The Auggie Project: offering eco-friendly clothing, jewelry, stickers, and magnets.
The Glitter Geek Boutique: featuring handmade resin art, jewelry, and angelic fox guardian statuettes.
The Herbal Ascension: offering herbalist teas, yoni steam blends, tinctures, and smoking blends.
Players from Denver Squid: an all inclusive adult aquatic’s club offering community in swimming, water polo, and inner tube polo.
Last but certainly not least, here are photos from House of Ishan’s show held in Champagne Tiger. The cast featured Gila Moonstar, Shannon Doa Moonstar, Ricky Ramos, and Jasmin Ho Lin with music from Colorado’s DJ of the Year DJ Buddy Bravo!
