District219 ‘Psychedelic Social Club’ Presents A Night Of Healing

Aliyah CharletBy Aliyah CharletSeptember 19, 2025Updated:January 20, 20262 Mins Read
On September 27 in Santa Barbara, a one-of-a-kind night awaits. District 219 presents a night of healing, exploration, and connection. This event is meant to elevate and explore, inspire and ignite your own personal experience with psychedelics through community building.

These events are curated by “Chief Dreamer” Jacob Tell, a multidisciplinary entrepreneur, creative strategist, and producer who has dedicated his life to cultivating community through psychedelics and education. In an interview with Jacob Tell, I got to understand the meaning-making process through the lens of psychedelics.

Jacob Tell said, “We started District 219 as a response to the pandemic, a response around healing and consciousness while factoring in cannabis and psychedelics as tools and wellness, the community is all about connecting and sharing.”  The COVID pandemic was an isolating time when people craved connection and collective-based experiences. Jacob Tell wants to create a safe space for people to understand themselves and the world around them. Tell proclaims, “Psychedelics are tools and medicine to unlock connections and learning as a global community, and these tools allow people to see the oneness of community, nature, and humanness.”

So what does a night of psychedelic exploration look like? According to Jacob Tell, there are rules and regulations around these gatherings in order to ensure safety and well being within the community. “I made a set of value systems similar to a manifesto to help frame how people interact and how to leave the world better than we found.” This manifesto highlights the importance of “community as we come together to pursue these new pathways. It encourages us to surrender to the flow and bridge the gap between what has been and what will be”. These events also feature live talks, discussion based panels, as well as dinner, Dj’s, and dancing.
So, will you consider joining a Psychedelic Social Club such as District219? For more information, visit their website!
