Photo Gallery: Afterglow Lights Up Denver with Queer Fashion, Creativity, and Community
On Friday, September 26, the Denver skyline shimmered with unapologetic style and self expression as Afterglow took over the Rook Rooftop at the Catbird Hotel. Hosted by The Center on Colfax, this immersive, fashion-forward gala was a powerful celebration of queer creativity, identity, and the artistry that defines LGBTQ+ culture.
Models, designers, and creators from across the community came together to showcase the future of queer fashion, blurring the lines between runway and revolution. Every look told a story; every strut carried a message, and every moment was a reminder that fashion has always been a tool of resistance and transformation.
Designers pushed creative boundaries with collections that celebrated identity, resilience, and history, from bold statements of gender fluidity to deeply personal tributes to queer ancestors. The energy was absolutely electric, while community leaders and activists took the mic to remind guests why representation on the runway and beyond is more crucial now than ever.
