It’s no secret people have been going nuts for queer reboots, like the new Queer Eye and Will & Grace. Now, the Will & Grace reboot is being renewed for a new season, which will premier Fall 2019.
According to Deadline, the show was officially renewed for a third season, which will be 18 episodes long. Die-hard fans will of course be considering this the 11th season, since the new show is really just a continuation of an old favorite.

“As far as I’m concerned, we can’t get enough of Will & Grace and 23 more episodes is music to my ears,” claimed NBC entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt in a statement. “We’re eternally grateful that Debra, Eric, Sean, and Megan feel the same way and wanted to keep this good thing going. I’m overwhelmed by the euphoric response the new show has received from the press and the audience, and my hat is off to the unrivaled writing team of Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, as well as the brilliant directing of Jimmy Burrows, for consistently delivering one of the best shows on television.”
Since this past Saturday was the anniversary of the show’s pilot, it’s only fitting for it to be getting some love with an official extension. What was once considered a queer, fringe show is now becoming a legacy, joining the ranks of timeless sitcom favorites like Friends and Seinfeld.
