Underground Pride: WRATH!

Friday, June 6, kicked off Underground Pride, a three-day event hosted at Seventh Circle Music Collective. This year was the BiteSize Productions‘s fourth annual edition and it came with a slight update to the name: Underground Wrath. “Given the current political climate, this theme resonates deeply. For the queer community, this is not a time of unbridled pride—It’s a time of righteous anger. Pride, after all, began as a riot in 1969, and we believe our celebrations should honor that legacy.” 

“In the year of 2025 it’s hard to feel Pride right now, so this year is QUEER WRATH!”

This all ages event featured over 200 queer, local Colorado artists, including musicians, drag performers, DJs, and more. The event prides itself on being made for and by the queers—meaning no big corporations or sponsors who love to turn their logos rainbow during the dates of June 1 – June 30 are welcome, ever.  Read more about BiteSize Productions and how Underground Pride got started here.

The live music is held in the garage of the collective, where stickers and tags line the walls and ceilings, adding a true underground element to the experience. In between acts, goers were able to visit the booths of local artists and businesses, grab some grub from the food truck, or have a seat and find a moment to themselves being in community.

Seventh Circle Music Collective is just that. Anywhere from 20-200 people “own” and “run” the space at any given time. For Underground Pride, there’s a suggested donation to enter the event. There are no tickets offered for sale ahead of time, and nobody is turned away for lack of funds. In talking with Dylan (they/them,) a volunteer of the collective, they said that Seventh Circle is like a second home for people. If you’re looking for really good undiscovered music, this is the place to find it.
