Founded during the early days of Colorado’s medical cannabis market, Keef Brands has spent more than 15 years building its place in the cannabis beverage industry. The Boulder-based company describes itself as the original THC beverage company in the United States, focusing on making cannabis consumption more approachable through familiar, cannabis-infused drinks.

Keef’s products are sold through both traditional retailers carrying hemp-derived products and state-regulated cannabis dispensaries. The company has continued expanding its reach while developing beverages designed to fit into social occasions and everyday experiences.

The brand is particularly known for its classic soda-inspired flavors. Its Bubba Kush Root Beer recently received a Double Gold Medal from The Fifty Best, while its C.R.E.A.M. soda earned a Gold Medal in the 2026 International Non Alcohol Competition. The cream soda’s name is a play on the Wu-Tang Clan song “C.R.E.A.M.,” replacing “Cash” with “Cannabis.”

Keef’s growth has been guided by a leadership team with experience across sales, marketing, business development, and the cannabis industry.

Matt Baumgartner, Keef’s President and CEO, joined the company in 2018 and has helped oversee its expansion across regulated cannabis and hemp-derived markets. He leads sales, operations, and strategic planning while working to grow the company’s national presence.

Baumgartner’s background includes sales leadership and business development, with an emphasis on building partnerships, developing teams, and helping brands grow in competitive industries. He also serves on industry boards and has worked to advance the cannabis beverage category.

Kim Pirone, Keef’s Director of Sales and Marketing, has worked in the cannabis industry since 2015. During nearly a decade with Keef, Pirone has helped facilitate the company’s expansion into more than 20 states and Puerto Rico.

Pirone’s work has focused on making cannabis beverages more accessible while challenging some of the stigma surrounding cannabis consumption. She has helped position beverages as a familiar option for consumers who may be looking for an alternative to more traditional forms of cannabis.

Blake Patterson, Keef’s Chief Revenue Officer, oversees the company’s enterprise revenue strategy, including sales, marketing, distribution, pricing, and commercial planning. His career has included leadership roles across cannabis, hemp, beverage, and consumer packaged goods.

Patterson has helped drive growth through strategic partnerships, portfolio development, and expansion into new markets across the United States and Canada. His experience also includes launching hemp-derived beverage programs and developing relationships with major retailers and distributors.

Together, Keef’s leadership team is focused on the continued growth of cannabis beverages as the industry evolves. The company’s approach centers on familiar flavors and formats, aiming to introduce cannabis to consumers through products that may feel more accessible than traditional methods of consumption.

Meanwhile, New York cannabis brand Jaunty is expanding its edible lineup with a reformulated collection of solventless hash gummies designed to offer a more full-spectrum cannabis experience.

The company announced its new Jaunty Hash Gummies will hit licensed dispensaries across New York beginning August 11. The collection includes six fruit-forward flavors divided among daytime sativa, nighttime indica, and anytime hybrid options.

Unlike edibles made primarily with cannabis distillate, the new gummies use solventless hash produced at Jaunty’s facility in Hoosick Falls, New York. The extraction process is intended to retain more of the cannabinoids and terpenes naturally present in the cannabis plant.

“We’re always looking for ways to bring people a more authentic cannabis experience,” Jaunty Co-founder and CEO Nicolas Guarino said in a press release. “Using solventless hash allows us to preserve more of what makes the cannabis plant special while creating an edible that’s flavorful, reliable, and easy to enjoy.”

Each gummy contains 10 milligrams of THC, while two varieties pair THC with an additional minor cannabinoid. The entire collection is also vegan, gluten-free, and fat-free.

The six flavors include Dreamberry, a berry-flavored nighttime indica containing 10 milligrams each of THC and CBN, and Orange Swirl, a creamsicle-inspired daytime sativa containing 10 milligrams each of THC and CBG.

The four anytime hybrid options each contain 10 milligrams of THC. Sour Orchard combines crisp apple and sour flavors, while Blueberry Stacks takes inspiration from blueberry pancakes with blueberry, jam, and buttery notes. Strawberry Fields offers a sweet strawberry flavor, and Super Sour Lemonade rounds out the collection with a tart, citrus-forward option.

The gummies are the latest addition to Jaunty’s growing product lineup in 2026. The company also partnered with True Terpenes this year to introduce a Liquid Diamonds vape line powered by Headstash and launched Hash Hole Pre-rolls made with indoor flower and solventless rosin.

Jaunty has been working in cannabis extraction since 2017 and operates its manufacturing facilities in Hoosick Falls. The New York-based company produces gummies, concentrates, pre-rolls, disposable vapes, and other cannabis products distributed through licensed dispensaries across the state.

The new Jaunty Hash Gummies are available now at licensed New York dispensaries.

Muha Meds Infused Hash Holes

With summer entering its final stretch, Muha Meds is putting its own spin on one of the cannabis world’s more popular trends with its 2g Infused Hemp Hash Holes.

Sometimes called “donut joints,” these pre-rolls get their name from the ring that forms as they burn. Each one pairs flower with a solid center of either THC-A Diamond Sauce or THC-P Hash Rosin, creating the signature donut effect while adding another layer to the smoking experience.

The Hash Holes come in several strains and flavors, including Orange Creamsicle, Horchata, Blue Zushii and Strawberry Champagne. Each is also finished with a glass tip for a smoother draw.

For anyone hoping to squeeze a little more relaxation out of the final cookouts, pool days and warm nights of summer, these offer an infused alternative to the traditional pre-roll.

Price & Availability: Suggested retail price is $8.99. Available online through select retailers.

Keef Classic THC Sodas

Keef is taking a more nostalgic approach to cannabis drinks with a lineup inspired by the sodas many of us grew up drinking.

Instead of leaning into the seemingly endless selection of THC seltzers, Keef offers cannabis-infused versions of familiar soda-shop flavors. The lineup includes Bubba Kush Root Beer, C.R.E.A.M. soda, cola and orange soda, giving consumers another option for enjoying THC without leaving behind the flavors of a classic soft drink.

The brand has also picked up recognition for its sodas. Bubba Kush Root Beer has received a Double Gold Medal from The Fifty Best, while C.R.E.A.M. soda earned a Gold Medal in the 2026 International Non Alcohol Competition.

Keef products are available through regulated cannabis dispensaries, while the company’s hemp-derived line is sold nationwide, including through a partnership with Total Wine & More. For those final summer cookouts, afternoons by the pool or nights spent outside, it’s essentially the grown-up version of reaching into the cooler for an ice-cold soda.

Price & Availability: Suggested retail price is $29.99 for a four-pack. Available online and through select retailers.
