Tracks brings back All Stars for Ultimate Queen competition
It’s Christmas in August. Yes, we know the popular saying places the iconic holiday in ‘July,’ but what better way is there to describe the return of the most popular queer show on television debuting a new season halfway through the year? There isn’t. RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars is a gift for us all.
But, us Denverites are getting a little something extra this August as Tracks brings back the best of the best for a star studded Ultimate Queen competition to run in conjunction with Drag Race All Stars.
For the past seven years, and seven seasons of Drag Race, Ultimate Queen has invited some of Denver’s freshest faces of drag to take the stage and outshine one another. Seven queens have been crowned, but the talent that has left the stage without clutching the crown between their acrylic nails is overflowing. So, over the next seven weeks eight former contestants will be bringing their updated drag to Tracks’ stage one more time, all with the same goal in mind. Become the first ever Ultimate Queen All Star.
This season’s All-Star competition comes with a cash prize, and a six-month run in the legendary Tracks Drag Nation show. It will be hosted by former contestant Mia StaxXx and 2015 UQC winner Yvie Oddly, while Felony Misdemeanor, Mariah Spanic, and Victoria Sexton return to mentor and judge the cast.
Check out the returning queens, and get out to Tracks every Thursday to support your favorite!
