Meow Wolf has another incredible lineup of events this August, as well as a long-awaited collaboration with Illegal Pete’s.
The limited edition tie-dyed burrito (called the portilla) will be available at all Colorado locations of Illegal Pete’s all month, providing the perfect meal to accompany all of the fantastic events held by Meow Wolf this month.
To start the month off right, Meow Wolf is hosting a drag show this Saturday, August 10, We Are Going Viral with Haus L’Whor. This is a 21-plus event featuring plenty of drag performances produced by Jessica L’Whor, Talia Tucker L’Whor, and Foxxy L’Whor.
Looking for a more chill event? The Meow Wolf Makers YAS (Yawlp Affirmation Society) Convention on Tuesday, August 13, is a 14-olus craft day perfect for cryptid fans that invites attendees to explore affirmation and self-expression through Yawlp-Gon dolls and Yawlp-seeking merit badges, as well as hunt for Meow Wolf’s favorite shy creature, the Yawlp.
This month’s Flexiverse class is Buti GLOW, a neon-themed yoga class in the middle of Meow Wolf’s Perplexiplex. Hosted by instructors Chelsea Gressman and Sarah Broussard with music by DJ Seeker, this 18-plus event will provide body painting to enhance the glow!
Fans of Meow Wolf’s concerts will love Evanoff and Terrawave as they take the stage in the Periplesiplex for an 18-plus concert on Friday, August 16. Other musical acts this month include The Polyphonic Spree with Another Michael | Magic Cyclops on August 27 for an all-ages show and Space Armadillo with Uncle Jesse on August 28 for an 18-plus show.
Lastly, Meow Wolf Makers is leaving Convergence Station for an abstract design t-shirt printing workshop at H.R. Meninger on August 31, allowing those 13 and older to wear their own fantastic and abstract creations.
Incredible things are always happening at Meow Wolf’s Convergence Station, so check out their events calendar and stay up to date on their weird and wonderful events.
