The Dinah Adds to 2021 Legendary Line-Up
After 2020’s heartbreak and isolation, we’re in dire need of celebration, joy, and community. Thankfully, The Dinah, the oldest celebration of LGBTQ women in the world, intends to deliver exactly that as they ramp up for their 30th birthday with exciting additions to their already impressive line-up. Recognizing the extra need for “an exciting, community building, life-affirming, unimaginably stellar experience” this year, they’re reminding us of their world-class reputation with an exciting blend of emerging artists and classic stars. They recently added Rozzi, Cece Peniston, SWV, and SWSH to their roster of iconic artists like Macy Gray, Yung Baby Tate, and Kat Cunning.
The Dinah’s 30th Birthday Bash
Additions to the 2021 Legendary Line-Up
The Dinah kicks off their badassery with a poolside pre-party at the Hilton Hotel with the upcoming, multi-talented rapper, lyricist, and producer SWSH; the BET Award-winning and four-time Grammy-nominated legends, SWV; and the sultry, soulful, powerhouse Rozzi.
The party then moves to Asia SF Palm Springs for their Official Opening with Boi Band and the winners of their Emerging Artist contest. Then, Girl Spot Friday boasts Kat Cunning and Tommy Genesis before they take over the Palm Springs Convention Center for their extravagant Black and White Ball with a celebrity-studded red carpet and “one of the 100 Top Dance Club Artists of all Time by Billboard magazine, Cece Peniston” headlining with R & B fireball MK XYZ.
Rozzi, who’s making waves with her podcast “Ugh! You’re So Good!,” will join the stage with Doechii for The Dinah’s L Word: Generation Q Pool Party. With two days left, it’s back to the Convention Center for the Hollywood Party featuring Macy Grey, who’s “won five of 17 nominations, including Grammy Awards, MTV Video Music Awards and Brit Awards,” and Grammy Award winner Yung Baby Tate for a show-stopper you’re sure to remember!
To wrap up this show-stopping, five-day festival, guests can unwind at the Hilton Hotel for a Sunday Funday Pool Party to celebrate one last time with SWV, St. Panther, and SWSH. For their Official Closing Party, there is one last remarkable, emerging artist: Smeared Lipstick Crew.
