Teaser Trailer Released for “Wet Hot American Summer” Miniseries on Netflix
When “Wet Hot American Summer” was released in 2001, nobody really knew how much of a cult following it would have, but fast-forward and the star-studded film is everything. And now the miniseries adaptation of the film set to premiere on Netflix has its first teaser trailer.
Netflix picked up the series for a limited 8-episode run earlier this month, and claimed that several of the films huge stars would be reprising their roles, including Bradley Cooper who played a gay camp counselor in the original. Are we in for another steamy sex scene in the shed??
Joining original writer David Wain, the series cast will also include Christopher Meloni, Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd, Molly Shannon, Michael Ian Black, Janeane Garofalo, and David Hyde Pierce, among others. So really just the important people, right?
Not much is revealed in the trailer, but graffiti on the wall confirms the series will pick up right where the film began… in 1981. We’ll keep you posted.
