Take a sneak peek at RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 2
It’s finally time! Some of our favorite drag queens are returning to our tv screens, and there’s one thing we have to say …
In all seriousness, the time has come for queers around the nation — and a few neighboring countries — to forego their Thursday nights, gather girlfriends, and practice tongue pops as they watch 10 former contestants from RuPaul’s Drag Race and pitting them against each other in the ultimate drag competition.
We will get to see Tatiana, Phi Phi O’Hara, Roxxy Andrews, Alaska, Alyssa Edwards, Coco Montrese, Detox, Adore Delano, Katya, and Ginger Minge fight for the All Stars crown, which is currently held Chad Michaels.
On the last season of All Stars, RuPual shackled the girls into teams of two, which received backlash from fans who saw some of their favorites go home early on. This year, however, the pairs are tossed out the window for a bigger, more exciting twist — the top two queens each week will lip-sync for their legacy and the winner will send a fellow queen home. That’s right, RuPaul will not be eliminating anyone this season.
You can catch all the dram on Logo and VH1 on Thursdays starting tomorrow, but you can watch the first 12 minutes of the first episode right now.
