Taco Bell Doesn’t Hate Gay-Themed Ad
Let’s be honest, we all love a gay-friendly commercial, especially when it comes from a corporate giant. We don’t get to see them very often, and when we do it’s one more point for our team. The latest in gay-friendly commercials comes from the Merkin Bros. and features none other than Taco Bell.
Don’t judge, we’ve all had our late-night fix. It happens. And while this commercial isn’t completely sponsored, funded, or created by Taco Bell, they don’t hate it. In fact, according to Mediaite they are “impressed with their work and would be open to a meeting.”
Really? Great. The team from Merkin Bros. shot the ad in an actual Taco Bell without being noticed. It’s their goal to see advertising as a whole “be a lot more inclusive.” Bravo, boys. That’s our goal, too.
The commercial is maybe just a little cheesy (see what we did there) but it’s a step, and for that we’re happy.
