Steve Grand announces show at Tracks

Out country music singer Steve Grand just announced a stop in Denver next month at our local dance stop, Tracks.

The singer/songwriter has garnered a lot of attention for his very out and proud country music, which is virtually unknown in an industry riddled with a history of being very conservative, but is slowly changing its view on LGBT people and issues. Lucky for us, Steve grand isn’t scared of sharing his voice, and inspiring so many young queers who love country music.

Oh yeah, he’s also a sweetheart. Back in November, he kept his promise to attend the Marine Corps Ball with gay marine Sgt. Tanner White.

In September, White asked the “All American Boy” singer to the ball, an annual celebration of the day the Marines were formed, with a sweet YouTube video that went viral, and Grand accepted with a YouTube video of his own.

“I want to say that I’m honored to accept your invitation to be your date at the Marine Corps Ball this November,” Grand said when he agreed to be White’s plus-one. “Thank you so much for your service to this country and I look forward to a really fun evening with you in November.”

We haven’t mentioned the set of lungs Steve has, but we will let you be the judge of that. Check out some of his videos, and get your tickets!
