Sono Bello Sponsors New Women’s Equality Campaign
Sono Bello, a national, cosmetic surgery company, is partnering with the nonprofit Dress For Success for their new “31 Days of Women in Power” event.
“31 Days of Women in Power” celebrates the work of 30 women executives who have achieved great success in their respective fields. Sono Bello has also created a similar, company-specific campaign highlighting the work of 41 women leaders within the company.
Dress for Success is an international nonprofit that aims to provide women who could use extra support with the tools they need to succeed economically. They provide professional attire and development tools such as job-search help and workshops to women in need. Seventy percent of their clients are BIPOC, and 50 percent are living below the poverty line.
Sono Bello is a majority-female-led company with 80 percent of leaders within the organization identifying as women. By partnering with Dress for Success and sponsoring campaigns like “31 Days of Women in Power,” Sono Bello hopes to further inspire its female clientele to thrive within the workplace, especially at a time where women have been disproportionately impacted by the Covid-19 recession.
“We could not achieve successful transformations for our clients without the work of the many women who make up Sono Bello, who all intimately understand the roadblocks facing working women today, from disproportionate job loss during the pandemic to lowered self-confidence which touches every area of a person’s life,” Lori Maxwell, Vice President of Operations at Sono Bello, said in a statement.
The event is an extension of the global “Your Hour, Her Power” campaign, which encourages individuals to donate one hour of pay to help women succeed in the workplace. Sono Bello is a key sponsor of “Your Hour, Her Power” and continues to support women’s workplace equality by taking part in the “31 Days of Women in Power” campaign as well.
