Singer-Songwriter Razteria Releases New Music Video
In honor of Earth Day 2021, singer-songwriter Razteria has released a new music video for her recent single “What I Love.”
The video follows Razteria, who wears a white, floor-length dress and a glittering cape through the hills of the Bay Area in California while she walks and moves with the music. The sun is slowly going down as the song progresses, draping the hills in golden light throughout the duration of the video and highlighting the contrast.
“For me, this is a song about living and loving life in the present moment. It is the feeling of being at peace with the beauty of the challenges it brings,” Razteria writes in the caption that accompanies the video. The singer also noted that the setting of the video is one of her favorite hikes in the Bay Area. “I have dreamt for a very long time how I could share this journey, which I make often, with everyone that is not physically here. I think we captured its essence.”
The video includes specific elements of the natural world to celebrate Earth Day and pay homage to the Earth’s beauty. “The music video captures nature, animals, the sun, the moon—basic elements which unite us all,” Razteria says in a statement. The video also features a surprise ending.
Razteria released her first full-length album in 2005. Since then, she has released seven more albums and one EP, collaborating with many different artists and producing repertoire in both English and Spanish. With a diverse skill set, she produces, engineers, and writes all of her own music. Her eighth album is set to release in 2021.
Razteria’s music is available on all streaming platforms. You can learn more about her work on her website, and follow her Instagram or other social media accounts for updates on upcoming releases.
