RuPaul Is Coming to New Streaming Platform Paramount+

It looks like we will soon be sashaying over to Paramount+.

ViacomCBS officially announced that 36 new original titles, some of them involving beloved franchises from the ViacomCBS vaults, will premiere on a brand-new streaming platform called Paramount+, which is a rebranding of CBS All Access.

Some of the shows spotlighted in the presentation included a Fraiser revival, a reunion of the OG Real World New York cast titled The Real World Homecoming: New York, a Road Rules revival, and a new series from the producers of RuPaul’s Drag Race called Queen of the Universe.

From World of Wonder, this one-of-a-kind series will feature drag queens from all over the world going wig-to-wig in a singing competition to see who will be crowned the ultimate Queen of the Universe.

As if that wasn’t enough, Paramount+ will also be the home of the upcoming sixth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, set to premiere later this year.

Paramount+, which will launch March 4, will also be the place to watch originals previously found on CBS All Access, including The Good Fight, The Twilight Zone, and Star Trek Discovery. The streaming platform will add more than 5,000 episodes of reality series from the ViacomCBS library and will also offer plenty of movies, live sports, and programs from CBS News.

Right now, you can sign up for CBS All Access and save 50 percent off an annual subscription, which is normally $59.99. Once CBS All Access switches to Paramount+, your subscription will automatically change over. The plan with ads is normally $59.00, and the ad-free plan is $99.99 a year. Sounds like chopping those figures in half is a sweet deal, and plus, you get your first seven days for free.
