Revolution Cycle Celebrates Pride With LGBT+ Cycling Series

While the Western Slope doesn’t traditionally start Pride celebrations until the fall, Grand Junction’s Revolution Cycle is offering a free cycling series every Saturday this June that caters to LGBT+ folks without the plentiful schedule Denver Pride offers.

Revolution Cycle is partnering with local and national LGBTQ+ organizations, including The Trevor Project, GLSEN, and It Gets Better, to host a series of free community rides every Saturday in June. Guests are encouraged to make a suggested donation of $20 per rider and all proceeds will go to the designated nonprofit of that Saturday.

What: Free Community Rides to support LGBTQ+ organizations
When: Every Saturday in June
Where: Revolution Cycle, 634 Main Street #1, Grand Junction, CO
Time: 10:00 a.m.
Participants will also receive materials, swag, and giveaways from their nonprofit partners.

Revolution Cycle is a woman-owned small business that is described as “dedicated to promoting physical and mental wellness through indoor cycling,” and aims to “create a space where everyone is welcome, celebrating diversity and fostering
a strong sense of community. ”

“We believe that everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and celebrated not just during Pride Month but everyday,” says owner of Revolution Cycle, Jaci Coles. “Our collaboration with these incredible organizations aims to create a lasting impact in our community. Indoor cycling is more than a workout; it’s a way to build connections and support among out diverse community members.”

If you are located in the Grand Junction area and are looking for an LGBT+ friendly environment (and a killer cardio workout), this upcoming series could be the perfect addition to your Pride festivities. Each Saturday will kick off at 10a.m. and featured organization will be offering resources and swag to attendees—and guests are sure to make community connections amidst the sweat and beats at Revolution Cycle.

You can find more information about the upcoming series on Revolution Cycle’s Facebook.
