Surprise, surprise! Queer Eye beauty guru Jonathan Van Ness is married.
The reality star announced on New Year’s Eve in an Instagram 2020 wrap-up post that he got married to his best friend and now has a loving partner to continue building his life with. The two tied the knot earlier in the year.

Initially, Van Ness only provided a photo of him and his red-headed partner wearing cream jackets. No name was mentioned.
Van Ness followed up with another post on Sunday revealing that the love of his life’s name is Mark Peacock, along with additional details about their courtship and several photos showing some of their favorite moments together.

“We went on a date in London, which turned into more dates whilst I was on comedy tour,” he wrote, adding, “something about Mark felt different, and I’m quite sure he felt the same.”
Among the 10 photos Van Ness shared in the post, one looks like it could be a wedding image. It shows them both donning cream-colored jackets whole facing each other under a tree.

According to Peacock’s Instagram page, which Van Ness linked to in his post, he was born in London and is now based in the United States. In a post shared on New Year’s Day, Peacock noted that 2020 brought on more changes than he has ever been a part of before.
“I left London and moved across the Atlantic, got dressed up for numerous, seriously hilarious zoom quizzes, re-discovered a love for gardening, learned to drive on the left, got married to my soulmate and one true love @jvn, and adopted a little Jack Russell called Pablo, and entered a family with four amazing cats,” he wrote.

Several weeks ago, Van Ness played coy when talking about his love life in an interview with SELF Magazine. He said that matter was private.
“It’s not that I will always be private about my relationships, but I just think that I need more time to kind of learn to date and be in a relationship as this public figure,” he said. “Dating’s hard enough not as a public figure, and then when you add this into it, it’s like, well, fuck me. It is a whole pile of complicated.”
