Pridefest: Important rules to remember

Denver PrideFest is upon us again, which marks the time of year to be the most colorful, loud, proud, and in some cases… a little boozy. While drinking is allowed in Civic Center Park during Pride, it’s important to remember that safety is a huge issue that The GLBT Center of Colorado must be concerned about. For your safety, and the safety of others, read the following list of rules to ensure that everyone has a great and successful Pride.

All bags, coolers, etc. are subject to search
No outside alcohol is allowed
No open beverage containers allowed into park – this includes water bottles. Only factory sealed water or soda bottles allowed. There are free water fountains inside the park
Guests will not be allowed to carry beverages outside the fenced perimeter
No weapons of any kind will be allowed in the park
No marijuana will be allowed in the park. Public marijuana smoking is illegal in Denver.
