Photo Gallery: Denver Magick Maker’s Market, South Broadway Beltane Block Party

Denver Magick Maker’s Market and Reefer Madness Broadway co-hosted the South Broadway Beltane Block Party on May 3 and 4.  Local vendors and businesses set up booths offering crafts, services, and unique finds for all who visited.

Saturday’s opening ceremony was led by Skylamoré aka Sorceress Kaiya of Lamoré at 2:22 pm on Saturday, May 3rd.

Emcee’s Meryls Mystic (@merylsmystic) and Buzick Magick (@buzickmagick) led the group fire ritual ceremony at 3:33 pm.

“Denver Magick Maker’s Market is made up of eclectic witches from all walks of life dedicated to curating a safe space to build a community for Pagans, Witches, Artists, and Weirdos from marginalized groups, including, but not limited to, Disabled, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA2S+.” – Magick Maker’s Market

Kurt Buzick with Buzick Magic Supply Co explains in an Instagram post, “Beltane, is the pagan observance of spring in full swing! ???? Some pagans also see this as the official beginning of summer because this sabbat marks the halfway point between the Spring Equinox/Eostre/Ostara and the Summer Solstice/Litha. ???? On Beltane, we honor all of nature, plant and animal alike with celebrations of song, dance, and fire! ????  Also, much like how Halloween/Samhain is when the veil between the living and dead is thin, Walpurgisnacht/Beltane is when the veil that separates our world from the fairies is at its thinnest!”
