OutTV and Fuse have come together to create OutTV Proud! OutTV Proud will serve primarily LGBTQ audiences with productions such as many OutTV classics, like Call Me Mother, Gogo For The Gold, Shine True, Boy Boy Montréal, The Villbergs Chronicles, Iconic Justice, Trixie Mattel: Skinny Legend, and the documentary series OUTspoken.
OutTV is the world’s very first LGBTQ streaming television and film service that curates an “original mix” of queer-focused, inclusive content spanning many genres and topics. OutTV strives to tell stories for the LGBTQ community, by the LGBTQ community, and is the leading provider of queer-focused content. Movies and shows can be streamed at OUTtv.com with a subscription, including exclusive content.
OutTV CEO Brad Danks says of the streaming site, “OUTtv is dedicated to amplifying queer creators and storytelling by delivering programs by and for the LGBTQ+ community. While doing so, we have increased our original commissions by more than double. Our robust catalog of originals is now large enough to launch a complementary FAST service, expanding our reach even further. The Fuse team has built a highly successful portfolio of FAST channels, and we look forward to partnering with them on OUTtv Proud.”
Fuse Media, a multi-platform entertainment company, is Latino-owned and strives to empower, celebrate, and amplify young, multicultural voices. Fuse has award-winning, original content and is dedicated to realistically showing the world of their young, diverse audience, creating a creative, multicultural end goal. Fuse Media includes Fuse, Fuse+, Backstage, Shades of Black, Fuse Music, Fuse Sweat, fuse.tv, and Fuse Content Studio as well as its production and live events business.
Fuse Media Chairman and CEO Miguel Roggero says, “Fuse has gained tremendous traction by delivering quality programming that reflects today’s young multicultural audience. Our FAST channels have allowed us to extend those successes by spotlighting specific, diverse communities, such as LGBTQ+ people, that still don’t get their fair share of representation in media. We’re excited to once again partner with our friends at OUTtv—this time on a huge venture that will answer an important need for LGBTQ+ viewers and their allies in the FAST channel universe.”
