Our guide for each other
Out Front was founded in the spring of 1976, and our longevity is due not only to all the hard work and dedication of all those who have worked with and for Out Front over the past 38 years, but because of Colorado’s thriving LGBT and allied community we’ve been lucky to be part of.
Every year Out Front is faced with the question of what it is means to be living an LGBT life. It has been our hope that we offer the latest news and thought-provoking editorial that engages our readers to learn, thrive and grow. We are more than a social magazine, and, yes, we’re also more than entertainment and political news. We strive to be a platform where the community connects — for speaking out, for finding resources and allies, for letting people know if you’re a resource or an ally, and for compiling the best knowledge and information for moving forward, as a community but as individuals as well.
It’s that time of year when things seem to be growing and springing to life, the perfect time to begin to think about what we can do to renew ourselves and to better balance our own lives. And what better time than spring to revisit, reprioritize, and even reinvent ourselves and the lives we find ourselves living with our inaugural LGBT Living Guide?
We have an amazing community — amazing for the creative talents and experiences found in it and also for the willingness we find in the LGBT and allied community to share our abilities as contributions to something greater, striving for a better world.
This Living Guide is a highlight of many of these contributions, with tips and knowledge on anything from improving your credit score to feeling more fulfilled in relationships. It also includes a business directory, presented by the Denver Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and serving as a who’s-who of just how many LGBT and LGBT-friendly service providers and resources there are out there — here in Colorado you’re truly not alone. We hope that you too will revisit, reprioritize, reconnect and maybe even reinvent yourself from what you learn and read in the pages that follow.
Thanks again for your continued support over the years, and if you too have a piece of advice or tip on life that you would like to share, we would love to hear from you. Give us a call, drop us an email, or connect with us on Facebook —
Out Front is your platform.
Here’s to you and living life audaciously!
