OFM Gallery: VIAL, Rain on Fridays, and Team Nonexistent at Globe Hall

OFM had the chance to see VIAL on the second leg of their Burnout tour with support from Rain on Fridays and local queer punk band, Team Nonexistent, at Globe Hall on 5/14/23. VIAL is a Minneapolis-based indie rock punk band comprised of best friends Katie Fischer on the drums, Taylor Kraemer on the bass, and KT Branscom on the guitar. The trio released their first album titled Grow Up in 2019 followed by LOUDMOUTH (2021), and their most recent release burnout, kicking off their 2024 tour.

They kicked off the show with “two-faced” riling up the crowd for an energy packed night. VIAL’s stage presence was contagious and they put on an unforgettable live show. Fans screamed along to older hits like “Roadkill”, “Ego Death”, and “Rough”, and iconic covers of “Black Sheep” by Metric and “Territorial Pissings” by Nirvana. They closed out the show with their most popular song “Piss Punks” as fans moshed for last time and another night for the books for the Denver punk scene.
