New “Wish We Could Club Again” Banger from Citizen Queen
Intersectionality, accessibility, and squashing the sexist, patriarchal norms through queer…
In the latest release from rising, quintet girl group Citizen Queen, “No Ego” has quickly become our new favorite. From remembering back to the sticky, hot, dance floor days to thinking ahead to club nights and Pride parties, this will definitely be a track that makes the list for good things 2021 brought us.
Comprised of five talented, female vocalists, Kaedi Dalley, Hannah Mrozak, Cora Isabel, Nina Nelson, and Kaylah Sharve’, we are taking notice of Citizen Queen and their unique blend of modern R&B with good, old-fashioned pop. With a united mission of carrying the torch of being the next generation of girl group excellence, they have already amassed an impressive following with their “Evolution of Girl Groups” compilation track. Now, releasing original songs, “No Ego,” in addition to their first release, “Call Me Queen,” the withstanding power of musical vocal groups continues.
Citizen Queen has been working diligently alongside the likes of writer and producer Justin Tranter, and “No Ego” was produced by NOVA WAV, who is the duo best known for churning out hits for Beyoncé and Ariana Grande. The infectious, attitude-driven, empowered bop is sure to keep your weekends full of sexy vibes and late nights. Check out the video below and keep an eye on these Queens!
