New LGBTQ Comics Right in Time for Pride!

Check out these LGBTQ comics this month, right in time for Pride!

If you are looking for a way to spend your summer reading about queer love, then you have come to the right place! Several new comic series have been published recently through Letter Better, a full-service publishing consultancy geared towards self-published authors and start-up small press houses run by Jesse Post.  We want to highlight just a few that stood out to us!

Archie Comics’ gay icon Kevin Keller first made his debut in the Archie series back in 2010. Late last year, the Archie Comics Kevin Keller: Celebration! was published and highlighted Kevin’s appearances in the series while capturing his comedic character and story of being openly gay and involved in the infamous Riverdale romance circle.

The next comic is brought to you by EEP Universe, a studio focused on centering women and marginalized groups in heroic fiction. House of Slay, a new superhero webcomic, features characters from across the LGBTQ spectrum. In the comic, their stories are about finding your inner power and fighting the forces of hate and intolerance while promoting love and kindness.

Mage and the Endless Unknown is the next comic to be on the lookout for, as it is a Young Adult graphic novel with limited text. The main protagonist is a nonbinary character who is embarking on a startling and inventive journey into the unknown.

The last comic on today’s list is The Color of Always, brought to you by A Wave Blue World. This comic is a celebration of queer love in an indie film style, a slice-of-life story. Sure to conjure up several emotions, it is definitely on our list to read this summer!
