New ‘American Horror Stories’ Promise Gays and Gore

Well, well, well … Ryan Murphy has done it again. In the same year that we’re getting a brand-new season of American Horror Story, we’ll ALSO be treated to a completely new anthology series, aptly titled American Horror Stories (emphasis on the -ies).
The spinoff will feature a collection of standalone stories for each episode that will revisit some of Murphy’s most iconic locations and characters. That’s right—you’ll get more Piggy Man, more Rubber Man (or … Rubber Woman, it appears?), and even. MORE. MURDER HOUSE.
The cast is, in a word, gay. Tony Award-winner Gavin Creel and American Horror Story alum Matt Bomer will play a couple moving into the Murder House with their daughter, Sierra McCormick. A later scene shows McCormick getting snuggly with model-turned-actress Kaia Gerber in the bathtub. Gerber gives a sultry smirk and whispers into McCormicks ear, “There’s so many wonderful ways to make people suffer.” A bold new take on romancing, but hey, gotta keep things fun and fresh!
The familiar faces of John Caroll Lynch, Naomi Grossman, and Billie Lourd will also grace the cast, but not to fear! Grossman and Lourd will also be in the upcoming American Horror Story: Double Feature season, alongside Gerber, who’s evidently diving headfirst into Hollywood.
In classic Murphy fashion, the director has cast four gorgeous men to play some of the show’s core characters. Nico Greetham, Kevin McHale, Dyllón Burnside, and Charles Melton, affectionately dubbed by Murphy as the “Fantastic Four,” will all be making their proper AHS debut. The boys have all worked with Murphy previously: Greetham in The Prom, McHale in Glee, Burnside in Pose, and Melton held a brief role in AHS: Hotel.

The series will be coming exclusively to FX on Hulu on July 15. And if that’s not enough ghosts and ghouls for you greedy little queers, don’t you worry, because AHS: Double Feature will premiere on August 25. Is it wet, hot summer or … gay, gore summer?
