Meow Wolf’s ‘Adulti-Verse’ Nights Return to Convergence Station

Back in December 2021, Meow Wolf’s Convergence Station first announced its new 21-and-up experience, the Adulti-Verse, which ran from January to February 2022. It was an immediate hit, allowing attendees to enjoy adult beverages and “explore the worlds in a grown-up dimension.”
Now, the Adulti-Verse is back.
“It’s funny, because when we just did a trial run in the beginning, whenever we stopped, everybody kept asking about them,” says Erin Barnes, Meow Wolf public relations manager. “We had planned to bring them back regardless; it’s just that we weren’t ready yet.”
For the initial reintroduction of the Adulti-Verse, Meow Wolf is partnering with Denver Modernism Week. The company says it will be “a night full of swanky cocktails, swing dancing, and vintage fun.” For this special re-launch event, guests are invited to don their best dapper/mod attire.
The Denver Modernism Week website highlights the number of innovative, modern architects, designers, and builders working in the city during the 1940s-70s. While historians, enthusiasts, and more have long appreciated this cultural heritage, the site states that “it has become clear that as more new people move to our city, and more generations are raised in the area with only limited awareness of this unique period in time, building a greater cultural awareness of this design heritage is necessary.”
Through partnerships with local businesses, institutions, neighborhoods, and nonprofits, Denver Modernism Week hopes to promote preservation through education and celebration. The collaborative event is scheduled for August 24.
After that, the Adulti-Verse will be a recurring event on the first and last Wednesday of each month from 5-10 p.m.
“It’s awesome. It was kind of a simple idea, and at the same time, it’s just such a good one,” Barnes says, adding that it was initially suggested by a visitor. Of course, Meow Wolf wants to be welcoming to everyone, Barnes says. However, the crew also understands that, sometimes, guests want to enjoy the immersive experience exclusively with other adults over 21.
“And to have bars throughout was really fun too,” Barnes says with a laugh.
Not every Adulti-Verse event will have a theme, but Barnes says there will definitely be more themed 21-plus evenings in the future.
After the clock strikes 5, every visitor must be over 21 and show photo ID to gain entry. All other normal admission rules apply.
