Meow Wolf’s 2023 Vortex Festival
OFM got sucked into Meow Wolf‘s 2023 Vortex Festival and saw a line-up you didn’t want to miss!
This year’s Vortex had the most attendees to date and featured headlining performances from Remi Wolf, Claude Vonstroke, Griz, BLOND:ISH, Tokimonsta, Justin Martin, and many more sets from Kiltro, Underscores, Jadu Heart, Jean Dawson, Notmeghan, Nikki Nair, QRTR, Dennis Ferrer, TF Marz, Escpe, Ford., Two Feet, Armani White, Tingara, CJ, Erez, Brownies & Lemonade All-Stars, Jacques Greene, Jerro, Catz ‘N Dogz, Parkbreezy, Thought Process, Parra For Cuva, The Funk Hunters, Mindchatter, Shady Jones, Chasewest, Rossi., DJ Minx, and Dusky on the jaw-dropping Arā and Atriā Stages.
Even though Mother Nature wasn’t on Denver’s side, show goers still showed out to support this amazing line-up of artists and headbanged throughout the rainy weekend. Show goers were fueled by food and beverages provided by WeChef Kitchen, Original By Greeks, Rocky Mountain Slices, Bombay Station, and Lucky Mary’s Baking Company.
Vortex was honored by two sets from Griz, the well-known and loved Denver-based EDM artist, as he performed one of his last sets before he retires in October for a while. The crowd enjoyed a heavier bass set as he headlined on Saturday night and got to experience one of his ethereal sunset sets on Sunday featuring Griz‘ signature saxophone as we finally had a break in the stormy weather. Overall, Vortex 2023 was one for the books, and Meow Wolf put on a phenomenal festival you won’t forget!
