Meow Wolf Announces Denver’s Next Danceportation with J. Worra

Meow Wolf’s next Danceportation event is set to arrive on June 1—an immersive dance party through the world’s of Convergence Station. The entire exhibit will be open, booming with beats and satisfying rhythms with psychedelic art projections to admire while wandering past different stages. They also have quiet rooms to lounge in if breaks are needed.

J. Worra will take over the performance line-up, a native Chicagoan now based in Los Angeles where she persues her career as a DJ and producer. She is bringing her prowess now to Denver at Meow Wolf, with her authentic music combining old-school and modern records alike. Her early career started with winning competitive DJ competitions, before hosting music for clubs once her notoriety picked up. She changed her entire career trajectory thanks to her skills on the decks.

The event is 21 and over and happens four times a year, so be sure not to miss out on this event when it happens in June! Meow Wolf started in 2008 with a small collective of artists coming together with similar interests and tastes. Their hope for their collaboration is to bring a new artistic pallet to Santa Fe, with music and art, building their skills together. By the year 2019, the exhibit collaborated with 200 different artists. Over 10 years, their impact spread to other cities and states such as Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, and Nevada. Each exhibit is different from one another, but all hold similar styles with their immersive and interactive exhibits. They have become one of the most notorious and biggest corporations for art. New York Times compares their success to Disney, as they went from being underground artists to a million-dollar business.
