Louisiana Judge rules same-sex marriage ban unconstitutional

Judge Edward D. Rubin found Louisiana’s same-sex marriage ban unconstitutional by violation of the 14th amendement today, after hearing a case between two California-married women seeking marriage recognition for adoption purposes.
This ruling is at odds with U.S. District Judge Martin Feldman who upheld the state’s same-sex marriage earlier this month.
