Let Me See Your Old Way, Let Me See Your New Way. You Better Not Stop, or You Might Get Chopped!

Ballroom houses across the state are preparing to walk, pop, dip, click, vogue, and twirl their way to the Assassin Ball presented by the Iconic House of Ninja. Authentic Ballroom competitions are returning to Denver, with the combined influence from the top Iconic Colorado Houses of LaBeija, Infiniti, Flora, Mikli, St. Laurent, and Ninja. A live DJ and local MCs JUICCY J. Flora LaBeija and Colorado Southwest Chapter Father Danny Tiberius Ninja hosting are just a portion of the entertainment offered. 

The Assassin Ball will also feature local and out-of-state members of each house and many more as they battle it out on the runway. The Ball will include a drag show as well as the traditional honorary opening ceremony, “Legends, Statements, and Stars,” paying tribute to the House founders and instrumental members.  The Assassin Ball will be a powerful convergence of old and new generations, all serving up the authentic experience of Ballroom culture.  

With a total of 21 different categories for participants to compete in, this Ball will represent every member of the vast Ballroom community. Whether walking or watching, the Assassin Ball will leave a lasting impression on all who attend. Participants will have the chance to win trophies, cash prizes, and the title of champion in that category. 

Who will be chopped, and who will score tens across the board? Hosted at the equally iconic Rhino district venue Reelworks Denver, formally Exdo Event Center, on Sunday November 7, 2021.
