Latest poll shows more people support gay marriage, believe gays aren’t born gay

The latest Gallup poll has shown 55% of Americans support same-sex marriage. This is up from 54% last year. The poll has also shown a rise of in people who “believe people become gay as a result of factors such as their upbringing and environment,” to 37%, a five percent increase since 2001. The best score for gay rights hits under adoption: 63% of Americans believe gay people should have the right to adopt children.
