Just Watch: “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”

I remember when I had plans this weekend, but then I found out Tina Fey’s brand new comedy, “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” was released on Netflix. Never mind, I’ll stay in.

The show stars Ellie Kemper (“Bridesmaids” and “The Office”), playing Kimmy Schmidt, a girl recently released from a doomsday cult after 15 years underground and trying to get a fresh start in New York City. It’s got a little bit of slapstick comedy, a little bit of heart, and all that Tina Fey goodness!

The first full season was met with rave reviews, and has a current score of 93% on Rotten Tomatoes. You go, Kimmy Coco…err Kimmy Schmidt.

The full season is available on Netflix now, and don’t worry if you’ve already watched it because a second season has already gotten the green light.
