JUST WATCH: Selfie from hell

We live in the digital age, obviously. It’s nearly impossible to go somewhere without hearing the “ding” of text message, or see someone chuckling at the phone in their hand. It’s also propelled us into the age of shameless selfies, as we take any opportunity to whip out our phone and share our beautiful faces with Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, or the trick you met on Grindr that is currently 209 feet away from you.

But, the viral YouTube video “Selfie From Hell” shows us the dangers of taking selfies, as a woman discovers something terrifying lurking in her home every time she takes a selfie. And as a frequent selfie Snapchatter, I’ve established a new rule to never take selfies alone at night, unless the guy on Grindr is really, really attractive.
