Just Watch: “Sad Studs,” A Parody of Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood”
Remember when the FDA finally let gay and bisexual men donate blood? Oh, but wait … ONLY if you were celibate for one-year. How lame was that? Tricked us.
Well … people like Jake Wilson are also disgusted by the FDA’s ongoing discrimination against blood donation by gay and bisexual men. But instead of just bitching about over brunch with friends, he went out and created his latest music-video parody, “Sad Studs.” The song is inspired by Taylor Swift’s new single, “Bad Blood,” but focuses on the government’s one-year celibacy requirement for gays that want to give blood.
And just like T-Swift’s video, “Sad Studs” is full of hot men and plenty of cameos. Sure, none of these guys are like SUPER famous, but hey … it’s better than nothing.
You might recognize Sebastian La Cause as “Dom Top,” Constantine Rousouli as “Uncut,” Robert Michael Morris (a.k.a. Mickey on The Comeback) as “the Queen,” and you may not know his name but you love him … Drew Droege.
Wilson hopes people enjoy the music and video, but his underlying goal is to raise awareness that the FDA is still treating gay men like second-class citizens. “It’s not just giving blood, either,” he says. “It’s organ donation and sperm donation, too. They’re acting like we’re poisonous.”

We’ve also included another one of his fun parody videos for your enjoyment.
