Just Watch: Paula Abdul and James Corden Recreate “Opposites Attract”

Paula Adbul. Oh, Paula Abdul. What can we say about her that hasn’t already been said.

Back in 1989 the pop “sensation” released the iconic music video for “Opposites Attract” that featured her falling love with a cartoon cat. Weird to think about now, but hey … it was the ’80s. And let’s be honest, we still let children watch “Beauty and Beast” and she falls in love with a gigantic wolf thing. Same concept.

Anyway … donning an MC Skat Kat costume and some jaw-dropping dance moves, Corden joined Abdul on stage for a step-by-step send-up to the wacky original video, proving that he is probably willing to do anything for a laugh, and definitely one of the best late night hosts on television right now.
