Just Watch: Dallas Theater Teacher Dominates “Uptown Funk”
If you haven’t heard “Uptown Funk,” you’ve obviously been living under a rock. It’s the latest obsession and for good reason. With it’s growing popularity, it was only a matter of time before somebody made a video featuring the hit single, and that man was Scot Pankey.
A theater arts teacher at Dallas’s A. Maceo Smith New Tech High School, the silver fox brought his students together to create the ultimate one take, flash mob video AND it’s awesome!
“I told them, ‘I am not a dancer, but I’d love to do this and go on this journey with you, and we can all learn from it and have a good time,’” he told the six classes that participated. “And they were all on board.”
Since the video was uploaded on Saturday, it’s been viewed over 6 million times. And even Bruno Mars gave his stamp of approval via Twitter.
