Although this tour is founded in potty humor, it sheds light on the very real, very menacing issue of barring trans people from accessing public spaces,” says Red Q. Dawe, the lead organizer and a trans activist, who is spearheading the initiative . “But we are going to have the last laugh.” Dawe, a vocal advocate for trans rights, saw firsthand the importance of creating a platform for trans voices after preforming in over 40 cities across 16 states in 2024. During the performances, Dawe connected with members of the local trans community, hearing their stories of how the political climate is impacting their daily lives. These powerful experiences motivated the creation of the tour to bring visibility, laughter, and support to communities across the nation.

This has left community organizations struggling tp provide resources to protect and support individuals affected by these challenges. The “Here to Pee” Tour seeks to address this gap, with a commitment to donate a percentage of ticket proceeds to local LGBTQ+ non profits that provide direct services and advocacy for trans individuals. As Dawe notes, “Its no just about comedy it’s about solidarity. The purpose of this tour is to create spaces where we can share our stories, support one another, and bring attention to the critical work that local groups are doing on the ground.”
To document the tours impact, a film crew led by award winning documentarian Jeff Stonic will be following the journey. The crew will capture not only the performances but the heart of the movement itself. the resulting fill will aim to shine a national spotlight on these local efforts, telling their stories to a broader audience and further advancing the message of trans visibility and acceptance.
