Former “New Kid On The Block,” Jonathan Knight Appears On The Amazing Race…with Boyfriend

Let’s start by asking the single most important question of this post, who didn’t love New Kids On The Block? If you raised your hand and touched some sky, you can exit this post right now. But if you were a fan of what I like to call “the original boy band,” you’ll probably recognize the name, Jonathan Knight. He wasn’t the main man of the group, but this quiet and introverted member is making his way back into the spotlight. This boy-bander will compete in a race around the world, and join the cast of CBS’ “The Amazing Race” with (wait for it) his BOYFRIEND! Sorry, ladies.

Next month, he and boyfriend Harley Rodriguez will be one of the featured duos on the upcoming season. Knight took to twitter yesterday evening to share the good news.

“So happy to finally be able to officially say Harley and I will be on season 26 of the amazing race!”

The race has been known to bring out great qualities and more importantly, not-so-great qualities, but Knight seems confident. “This is probably going to be the most time that we’ve been together continually.” He’s pretty positive they’ll keep their cool, and “help each other through it.”

We shall see, Knight. We shall see. Let’s just hope these two have “The Right Stuff” to win the million.

Season 26 begins on February 25, and for the first time will feature all-dating couples, with five of which have never met each other until this moment. Talk about an intense first AND blind date.
