Farewell to Wednesday Drag Queen Bingo at X Bar

It was the end of an era at the X BAR. After seven years Drag Queen Bingo with Shanida Lawya and Nina Montaldo on Wednesday nights has come to a close. About fifty people turned out on July 31st to bid farewell, share a few drinks and watch their balls drop for the last time. Montaldo told Out Front that management has opted to go in a new direction. The X Bar plans to replace Bingo with a new Wednesday night dance party. Lawya and Montaldo have no plans to take their bingo elsewhere.
