ESPN reports Michael Sam’s locker room habits, apologizes

ESPN, the network devoted to sports coverage, deviated from their regular content to report Michael Sam’s showering status. Does he shower with his teammates? Does he wait for them to finish before heading in? ESPN wants to know!

His teammates were quick to state that they “aren’t tracking that” when it comes to Sam hitting the showers. And small wonder: these men are fighting their hearts out for a spot on a NFL team that would totally change their lives. They probably aren’t too caught up in homophobia with the gargantuan amount of stress they must be under. In fact, teammate Chris Long responded to the report with a tweet:

Sam has not responded to the controversy. He continues his St. Louis Rams training, and is vying for a position in contention with two other teammates, so he probably has more important things on his mind.
