One Colorado and Community Share of Colorado Launch ELI

One Colorado, Colorado’s leading advocacy organization for LGBTQ Coloradans, announced its partnership with Community Shares of Colorado to launch the Executive Leadership Institute (ELI) LGBTQ Nonprofit Professionals program.

We know that despite recent victories for LGBTQ folks, our community still faces discrimination in the workplace due to our sexual orientation or gender identity. This Executive Leadership Institute program will empower LGBTQ, nonprofit professionals to advance their careers and positively impact their work culture.”  says Daniel Ramos, executive director of One Colorado

This ELI group is for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer nonprofit professionals. The group will discuss issues of identity in the workplace, how lived experiences influence work, and other topics determined by the members of the group. All leaders at any level of the organization are welcome to join, according to One Colorado.

ELI groups are professionally facilitated, peer-to-peer support groups that provide accessible professional and personal development. The impact is an extended, 360-degree support network for leaders of the nonprofit sector in all stages of their careers—ensuring they have the tools, resources, and support to best respond to the dramatically changing needs of the community. 

Meeting times are on the fourth Thursdays of the month from 3:00 to 4:30 pm. The cost is $150 per participant annually. If the participant’s employer is a Community Shares member agency, their participation fee will be $100 annually. If interested, register here.
