Durango Pride Hosts Virtual Pride Celebration
For most Pride events throughout the country, virtual experiences for the year are the only option. The Durango Pride community, with the help of Scarlett Sandoval, is hosting virtual events throughout the weekend to celebrate Pride month through the pandemic. Digital Durango Pride may be different, but with many events lined up, it’s sure to live up to expectation.
Most of Durango Pride’s events will be live-streamed through Scarlett Sandoval’s YoutTube channel. The events kick off the night of Friday, June 26 with a Zoom Digital Dance Party at 8 p.m. Hosted by DJ Swerve, the music will last until 10 p.m. as a way to kick off the Pride celebration. Stay up-to-date by checking the Facebook event for more details.
