Diverse PrideFest Event: Denver Dyke March
Diversity isn’t hard to come by at Denver PrideFest. It seems like every way you look, someone is displaying or speaking their truth in their own unique way. The Denver Dyke March is an event that celebrates this diversity is held on Saturday in the mid-afternoon. The March itself begins at 4pm at Blush & Blu (1526 E. Colfax) where a rally will be taking place from 2pm.
The official write up of the event:
“Come out, come out wherever you are: dykes, queers, lesbians, women-loving-women, gays, transpeople, bisexuals, genderqueers, allies, feminists and all other supporters. Celebrate our community at the sixth annual Denver Dyke March. People of all genders, ages, classes, nationalities and sizes will gather for entertainment at the Denver Dyke March Rally at Blush & Blu followed by a march down Colfax to Civic Center Park.”
