The 13th Floor, Denver’s favorite haunt, returns for its 17th season of scares on September 7th and will feature thrilling new experiences and attractions.
For the first time in the haunt’s history, there will be two different entrances, creating a new experience even for the biggest fans. Other new experiences include Mini Escape Games and My FrightFilm, which will record guests from hidden cameras and allow them to relive their favorite scares, and two new Secret Bars hidden throughout the scares. Shot Spot Arcade Secret Bar is located within an apparently abandoned arcade, where those old enough will be offered a shot by the resident demon and sent on their way. The second Secret Bar, the Attic Secret Bar, is buried within the 13th Floor, and only available to those who venture deep enough to find it.
Rest assured, these aren’t the only bars available in the 13th Floor, as the fan-favorite Shriekeasy Bar will return with new offerings and decor. The R.I.P. Cabanas will also be making their return for the V.I.P. experience of the 13th Floor, complete with a free bucket of beers or seltzers and axe throwing.
Returning guests will appreciate the return of The Sacred Skull: A Tiki Tarot Experience,’ Class Axe Throwing, Behind-The-Screams tours (offered select Saturdays in October), The Graveyard Shift: Zombie Shooting Gallery, and No Name’s Curtain Chaos.
“This year, 13th Floor Denver is showcasing plenty of new additions and updates, from the route to the themes, we think everyone is going to be very excited and we can’t wait to share everything the team has been working on,” said Chris Stafford, CEO & Founding Partner at Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group.
Guests will experience three new themes this year, starting with Crimson Night, which follows the Blood Queen searching for victims to bring back her dead King. Visitors will escape into Nautical Nightmare, where they’ll be chased down by Captain Rust Hook and his skeletal crew who are looking for living souls to join them. Lastly, guests will find themselves in Macabre, where a twisted taxidermist is making hybrid creatures out of humans and animals.
Those wishing to experience the terror can find their tickets on the 13th Floor website, available now.
